Employment Qualifications

Meet the requirements set forth by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) and obtain its certification.

Obtain a valid state intern license or letter of deficiency.

If you meet these two requirements, please forward your employment inquiry to James Murray with your resume or CV and a scan of your FPGEC certificate.

We understand that not all state boards of pharmacy require the FPGEC certification, but it is a SUPERVALU requirement in order to ensure your future success.

Quick FAQ

Q: What are the requirements to obtain an intern license?

A: Each state sets its own requirements for intern licensure. Visit each state's board of pharmacy website for specific details.

Q: Help! How can I get an intern license in such states as California and Washington when they require a Social Security Number?

A: Most states with such a requirement will issue you (upon request) a letter of deficiency which specifically states your eligibility for internship but requirement of the Social Security Number not being met.
