While some chains employ other healthcare providers for disease management services, we provide our pharmacists with a range of opportunities to utilize their specialized skills and knowledge.

Because SUPERVALU Pharmacies believes so strongly in our pharmacists and their ability to maximize healthy outcomes, all our pharmacies from coast to coast (except where prohibited by law) offer a host of health screenings that are affordable and convenient for our patients. We work with physicians to encourage patients to become proactive in their healthcare and prevent complications from several medical conditions.

The need for these community services is growing as more employers and third-party plans seek ways to reduce overall healthcare expenditures and slow the rising costs of healthcare. To date, our pharmacies have provided thousands of these screenings to our patients and more tests are being performed every day.
