Graduate Intern and Pharmacist Training

SUPERVALU Pharmacies firmly believes that new associate training provides the foundation for you to be successful. All new graduate interns and pharmacists participate in a structured training program as an introduction to operations, customer service and computer applications.

Pharmacy Manager Training

Our multi-phase management program is developed by pharmacists for pharmacists. These sessions build upon the skills gained in new associate training and practical experience. Pharmacy managers learn the skills needed to operate a profitable pharmacy and manage a pharmacy team to provide sound patient care. These abilities are achieved through interactive learning on topics including economics, team building and leadership.

Mentor Relationships

At SUPERVALU Pharmacies, we believe that mentoring is critical to the advancement of associates within our company and equally critical to the success of our company. Both formal and informal mentoring are woven into the fabric of our business – allowing us to empower our associates and to recognize the importance of each and every voice.

Emerging Leaders Program

This leadership initiative was developed to support our Mission Statement and our Core Value of promoting our employees’ development. The program includes an annual leadership development session, plus periodic activities to enhance the development process.
